I want this blog to encourage and uplift one another in YHWY, to help one another grow in the knowledge of YHWY, to bless YHWY, and to glorify Him.
Before we begin our investigation concerning the traditions of men, I want to give you a little background on me, I worked in law enforcement in excess of 20 years starting in the United States Coast Guard, working as a deputy sheriff, and currently fulfilling the role of Justice of the Peace. I have a degree in secondary education with Majors in math and English. I have a passion to investigate doctrines of men and see if they fit in the frame work of the bible.
Doing this, I have had a hard time letting go of some of my own deeply held beliefs, but my prayer is and will always be to find the truth. It can be difficult to let go. I would like to take time and express my gratitude to the many teachers, pastors, family, and friends who have assisted in shaping me into what I am today. Your hard work and efforts have not gone unnoticed.
Thus, it always astounds me, the method in which YHWY works in us allowing us to glorify Him. Therefore, this article is not meant to be judgmental or condemning; however, it may prove to be convicting once you have read it.
Focusing on the Bible and my studies of it over the past 8 to 9 years, I found YHWY’s Word to be unchanging; however, what I have discovered to be alarming, is how the translations of YHWY’s Word have changed the meaning and manner of and how we worship YHWY. Through this ongoing inquiry, I have listened to, studied under, and made inquiry of several Bible scholars, teachers, pastors, friends, and relatives.
I have spent the better part of three to four hours average daily enthralled in some type of biblical study, either through reading the Bible, analyzing commentary, or through the internet listening to a variety of different theological studies. I am continually finding the modern Church has drifted off the course which Yeshua formerly set. The winds of the enemy have blown us off our original heading YHWY set in the garden, and Yeshua corrected on the cross, but we are still attempting to sail directly for the jagged rocks and reefs of ineffectiveness.
The enemy’s tactic is to always question YHWY’s commands and authority. As recorded in Genesis the serpent asked, “Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” We find throughout the entire bible a form or derivative of this question, causing man to doubt YHWY’s Word, which can and has eventually led to disbelieve of it altogether. Just look at the battles between denominations today, if you want to see this tactic at work.
What I find really alarming are the many well-intentioned pastors, leaders, grandparents, and parents who are not following the course correction Yeshua confirmed. We must remember YHWY will achieve His goals, and will put the people in place, which will follow His will. We must understand His will which is in plain view when reading the bible and can readily be seen once all the contemporary, religious esoteric perceptions caused by ethnocentric translations and the enemy’s prompting have been stripped away. All that remains is YHWY’s Word.
Do not be mistaken. These contemporary and misleading doctrines have roots reaching as far back as the Tower of Babel and beyond to the Garden. (For further study on this I recommend reading The Shinar Directive by Dr. Michael Lake.)
To cut through the lies and misdirection of the enemy, in this article we will let scripture define itself, compare scripture with scripture to establish spiritual truths in YHWY’s Word. Also we will inspect an idea, concept, belief, or a tradition to see if it changes YHWY, and if so, then we will need to discard it. Further, we will check to see if our man made philosophies have been revealed to the prophets. Finally we will utilize the principle “Out of the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established,” and examine the scriptures from a Hebraic perspective.
One other piece of advice I would like to send out, please do not take my word for anything. Check out what I write with the bible by going to the scriptures and reading all passages in their full context. Nonetheless, this does not take me off the hook, rather it puts you on it right alongside of me. You will find this article will challenge some of your deeply held beliefs, and you will feel as if you need to quit reading it. You will think I am a heretic and speak blaspheme. But do not forget some of the leaders during Yeshua’s earthly ministry thought He was out of line as well. I am not putting myself on the same plane as our redeemer but am attempting to be like Him as in 1 John 2:6 “He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.”
In this week’s blog, I wanted to show you the number of different pagan holidays celebrated by Christians the world over. I intended to produce all the accurate data on each occult holy day, starting from the historical inception of each day and moving forward until currently, illuminating all the devilish and vile traditions each encompassed, and hoping to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt just how horrid and repugnant all of those pagan holidays really are. However, to understand the offensive nature these pagan days embrace, we first must understand YHWY’s commands and see for ourselves how He dealt with syncretism, combining of different, often contrary dogmas, while comingling together different practices of each, i.e., the marriage of Christianity with Paganism.
To truly understand why this is offensive, let us look at what YHWY commands us in the Torah.
10 And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the Lord: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
11 Observe thou that which I command thee this day: behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
12 Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:
13 But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:
14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
15 Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;
16 And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods. Exodus 34:10-16 (Emphasis added.)
Thou shalt have none other gods before me. Deuteronomy 5:7.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Exodus 20:3-4 (Emphasis added.)
14 Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;
15 (For the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
16 Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.
17 Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee. Deuteronomy 6:14-17 (Emphasis added.)
Wow, YHWY means what He says as well.
26 For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:
27 And the anger of the Lord was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book: Deuteronomy 29:26-27
6 In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.
7 For so it was, that the children of Israel had sinned against the Lord their God, which had brought them up out of the land of Egypt, from under the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and had feared other gods,
8 And walked in the statutes of the heathen, whom the Lord cast out from before the children of Israel, and of the kings of Israel, which they had made.
9 And the children of Israel did secretly those things that were not right against the Lord their God, and they built them high places in all their cities, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.
10 And they set them up images and groves in every high hill, and under every green tree:
11 And there they burnt incense in all the high places, as did the heathen whom the Lord carried away before them; and wrought wicked things to provoke the Lord to anger:
12 For they served idols, whereof the Lord had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing. 2 Kings 17:6-12 (Emphasis added.)
1And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
2 And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.
3 And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.
4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
5 And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the Lord.
6 And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.
7 And the Lord said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:
8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
9 And the Lord said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.
33 And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
34 Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.
35 And the Lord plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made. Exodus 32:1-10, 33-35
1And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord God fell there upon me.
2 Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber.
3 And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.
4 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.
5 Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.
6 He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.
7 And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.
8 Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.
9 And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.
10 So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.
11 And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.
12 Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, the Lord seeth us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth.
13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.
14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord‘s house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.
15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.
16 And he brought me into the inner court of the Lord‘s house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.
17 Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.
18 Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them. Ezekiel 8:1-18
Here, I want to deviate a little and visit about, “there sat women weeping for Tammuz.” This Tammuz was a Babylonian god, who was born from an incestuous relationship between his mother, Isis and her son Osiris. This legend has its roots in the ancient Sumerian culture as well as that of the Eygyptians, Greeks, and Romans. Furthermore, Isis is known as the queen of heaven with her son Tammuz’s birthday being celebrated on December 25. Does this sound eerily familiar? Mother Mary, baby Jesus and Christmas day.
“(T)hey worshipped the sun…” this has found its way down to the contemporary church as well. Sun god worship took place on the first day of the week, which also grew out of the Babylonian mystery religion as well. Check out these websites for more information:
Several websites exist showing the integration between the early 1 century church and the Babylonian Mystery religion.
Constantine wrote the initial Sunday law known to history in about AD 321.
“On the venerable Day of the sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed. In the country, however, persons engaged in agriculture may freely and lawfully continue their pursuits: because it often happens that another Day is not so suitable for grain sowing or for vine planting: lest by neglecting the proper moment for such operations the bounty of heaven should be lost.”1
Chamber’s Encyclopedia sums it up.
“Unquestionably the first law, either ecclesiastical or civil, by which the Sabbatical observance of that Day is known to have been ordained, is the edict of Constantine, 321 A.D.” 2
Following this initial legislation, both emperors and Popes in the following centuries affixed other laws and regulations to reinforce the Sunday adherence. What started as a pagan observance ended as a Church policy. The Catholic Church Council of Laodicea (circa 364 AD) followed the Edict of Constantine.
“Christians shall not Judaize and be idle on Saturday (Sabbath), but shall work on that Day: but the Lord’s Day, they shall especially honour; and as being Christians, shall, if possible, do no work on that day. If however, they are found Judaizing, they shall be shut out from Christ.” 3

At this point we could delve off into the study of all the customary holidays most of the church celebrates, but if you are interested in this study there are several sites on the internet devoted to such inquiries for Easter, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Christmas, and much more. I urge you to take the time and study the holiday origins out. You will benefit from your investigation.
Let us continue with our examination into YHWY’s Word about man’s traditions.
1Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
2 Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. Jerimiah 10:1-4
Here is what is recorded in Mark about traditions of men.
6 He (Yeshua) answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. Mark 7:6-9
(Other witnesses –Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Colossians 2:8 – Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us. 2 Thessalonians 3:6 – Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 1 Peter 1:18)
Looking at Mark 7:8 did you catch that, FOR LAYING ASIDE THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD. Let’s break this down by putting this in context of our contemporary lives.
“You hypocrites who worship Me in vain by teaching doctrines and traditions of men rather than holding to what God the Father commands. You reject God’s instructions so you can live like the world enjoying its reward.”
We know YHWY is the same yesterday today and tomorrow. He is never changing. His instructions are never changing.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrew 13:8
“For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed. Malachi 3:6
God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? Numbers 23:19
Remember, YWHY does not change -really means- YHWY does not change.
James 1:17- 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Isaiah 40:8- The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
Psalm 102:25-27- 25 Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. 26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: 27 But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.
2 Timothy 2:13- 13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
Psalm 119:89- 89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. (Emphasis added.)
Psalm 90:2- 2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
Any question that YWY is unchanging…I hope not.
1Yahweh spoke to Moses: 2 “Speak to the Israelites and tell them: I am Yahweh your God. 3 Do not follow the practices of the land of Egypt, where you used to live, or follow the practices of the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. You must not follow their customs. 4 You are to practice My ordinances and you are to keep My statutes by following them; I am Yahweh your God. 5 Keep My statutes and ordinances; a person will live if he does them. I am Yahweh. Leviticus 18:1-5 HCSB (Emphasis added.)
He gave us orders to observe his feasts forever. Forever means forever. We are adopted into the tree of Israel (Eph 2:11-12, Acts 15:28-29, Gal 3:26-29, Romans 11:16-25) This is whole other lesson in itself. But copy down these verses and search out this topic. Through this adoption we are heirs to YHWY’s new Covenant as we see in Jeremiah 31.
31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Jeremiah 31:31-34
And in Hebrews we see this new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah.
8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. Hebrews 8:8-13
YHWY’s commands have not changed. Really, if you think about it, and do a complete study on the Pharisees and Sadducees, the educated elite of the day, who flourished during the time of Yeshua’s three year ministry on the earth, not much has actually changed since then. Yeshua had been, in part, put to death because trouble makers, some of which were Pharisees and Sadducees, observed He did not hold to their traditions. Those teachings consisted of pagan ideas, accepted into their belief system, as well as the observance of the fence laws, created through prideful and inappropriate theological studies, which had begun shortly after Moses gave the law to Israel. We need to understand, the church was not a new concept. It really began with Moses and the Children of Israel starting at Mount Sinai. Remember the gentile converts are adopted into Israel. Yeshua returned to put his church back in line with His will.
A thorough study of YHWY’s word will reveal His church goes as far back as Moses if not Abraham himself. Look how pagan ways made YHWY’s word ineffective. Slowly, taking thousands of years, and using man’s thought processes. The enemy developed laws similar to YHWY’s but with enough lie in them to make them an offense to Him, but delightful to His people. Once Yeshua brought His church back to its proper heading, on target, the course correction, the enemy continued with his same tactics using man to question YHWY’s law to the point where man no longer observed His instructions but inserted his own, changing YHWY’s Sabbath, holy days, and commands as well an dietary laws and many others to conform with that of the nations.
Rabbi Shaul (the Apostle Paul) was against man made laws, not hostile to YHWY’s law given through Moses. His actions proved this beyond a shadow of doubt. Simply put, any laws Rabbi Shaul spoke against were the man made laws.
The usual excuse we hear from our educated elite is the law was nailed to the cross and is no longer needed. They even come out against the Ten Commandments. Actually, the previous statement is demonically charged with a writhing hatred against what was actually accomplished on the “stake.” The law still stands, but the penalty was paid.
What you need to do is try and look at this situation from a different angle. We need to understand Satan slightly moves one’s perspective with a small lie, and over time our perception veers off course to the point where we believe a big lie, as shown in the evolutionary process, where thousands of years a small indistinguishable lie grows into a giant of a lie. Let us get back on track before we move off the subject at hand.
Yeshua gave his laws or instructions for the betterment of his people’s spiritual, mental, and physical health in order to worship Him with all our heart, soul, and strength. Yeshua is the Law made flesh. He showed us what could be accomplished if we followed God’s law/instructions. But He was nailed to the stake to pay the penalty of our sin and to be able to remarry His church. So as a matter of fact the law was nailed to the cross; however, the penalty remained dead and buried, but the Law incarnate resurrected coming back to life.
YHWY’s law instructs us how to love Him, how to love our neighbor, and how to love ourselves.
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 1 John 3:4
7 Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst the Lord thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the Lord. Deuteronomy 9:7
18 Whosoever he be that doth rebel against thy commandment, and will not hearken unto thy words in all that thou commandest him, he shall be put to death: only be strong and of a good courage. Joshua 1:18
Here is what Yeshua says about lawlessness or unrighteousness or iniquity.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. Matthew 7:21-27
Listen to what Rabbi Shaul had to say in his letter to Timothy,
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope; 2 Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. 3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, 4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. 5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: 6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; 7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; 9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; 11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. 12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; 13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. 14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. 15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 1 Timothy1:1-15
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. Hebrews 8:12
Understand that what you say has far reaching results. Saying we do not have to follow YHWY’s commands could be devastating …
30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: 31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. Acts 17:30-31
First we must remember sin is the transgression of the law, and to repent is to turn from transgressing the law. Furthermore, do not forget THE LAW is YHWY’s Torah.
So when YHWY says this will be an ordinance unto the children of Israel forever. We need to realize currently He is giving them a new covenant in which we are partakers because we have been adopted into Israel. We know His will through His commands, and we know sin is not following YHWY’s will, or lawlessness; therefore we need to follow His commands. And we need to know -if and when we stumble- we repent and keep trying. But the key here is to keep trying and to shed the garment of Satan’s lie. Yeshua has robed us in righteousness, but Satan will produce a counterfeit robe of unrighteousness and offer it to us which will differ only slightly and tempt us with it.
YHWY made it easy for us, keep His commands, and when need be, rely on Yeshua for forgiveness, then continue to work, live, and make disciples of the nations. Simply put, love Yeshua with all our strength, soul, mind, and spirit, and then we can love your neighbor as ourself. When we do a study of the commandments of YHWY, His Torah, we find in the most simplistic way, the Torah strengthens the health of our body, mind, soul, and spirit which is the temple of Yeshua, allowing us to love YHWY in the greatest possible way, thus making us an effective warrior for Yeshua’s use. And that, my friends, is what Satan is fighting against, and why he has deceived the modern church, YHWY’s earth bound warriors. Remember :
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. 1 Corinthians 3:17
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. Ezekiel 36:27
14 That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us. 2 Timothy 1:14
This sheds new light on celebrating Easter Sunday, having sun rise service, and returning home to sacrifice a pig in the temple of YHWY or should I say having a ham Easter dinner.
Do not forget how YHWY tended to Aaron’s two sons who wanted to add to what YHWY commanded.
1Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu each took his own firepan, put fire in it, placed incense on it, and presented unauthorized fire before the Lord, which He had not commanded them to do. 2 Then fire came from the Lord and burned them to death before the Lord. Leviticus 10:1-2 HCSB
When it comes to celebrating days other than those YHWY has appointed for us, I have heard many people express, “Does it really matter, when God knows our heart?” Well, did YHWY know Nadab’s and Abihu’s before he consumed them with fire for assuming they could please Him their own way? We need to look at how many times YHWY told us to do things and see if we are doing what He told us or check if we do things which are pleasing to our own eyes.
So now the question is will you let the Creator command you how to eat, rest, work, think, study, and generally act or are you going to rely on the rudiments and traditions of men whose thoughts are evil continually? Who do you want to listen too to become the best warrior possible, YHWY or his creature?
